Many may not be aware that I've been playing trumpet since I was in 4th grade with that as my primaray career for almost 20 years. Ubisoft's Audio Director Simon Pressey had this to say about Tim's recent contribution to Splinter Cell 4. " I have enjoyed working with Tim Larkin on several projects, and an admirer of his work in numerous other games. What sets Tim apart in the world of Audio for Games, is his experience and understanding of the medium of games their constraints and possibilities , and an artistry with audio on top that. Recently on SC4 he was designing ambiances for us , a really core part of the immersive experience of the game, he immediately grasped the complexities of the games audio engine technology, and how it was going to render the sound , which meant he knew right from the start ,why were asking for what we were, and how to design and deliver it. The result is the most immersive experience to date in the SC series, Tim's work is exemplary, and ahead of schedule. As I write this, I am looking forward to working with him in the future."
